Certina has formed a group of highly qualified and effective specialists, which functions as the taskforce in the relevant businesses for a period of time directly after the takeover.

Modus Operandi
The taskforce works exclusively on a project basis. The duration of these projects fluctuates between 3 and 6 months. Each member of the taskforce is responsible for certain aspects of the business operation. The taskforce reports regularly to the company headquarters. The taskforce falls under the auspices of the Certina CEO and possesses power of attorney in the relevant businesses.

Composition
For each operation, the taskforce comprises members with the relevant abilities corresponding to the situation. Normally the functions of labor law, organization, EDP and purchasing are required. With the selection of the taskforce members, beside the efficiency, particular consideration is given to the necessary delicacy for medium sized businesses in a takeover situation.

Experience
Excellent experience has been gained with the implementation of the taskforce during miscellaneous business takeovers. An important advantage has been that a broad-based know-how is brought into the shareholding business, where it is met by specialized industry specific know-how. The results have frequently proven to be both new and successful for the specific industry.
